Hussam Khasawneh received B.S. in Mechatronics Engineering from The University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan in 2008; M.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2011 from the Ohio State University. His past research experience included piezoelectric energy harvesting, battery modelling, advanced automotive systems, and thermal management systems. In September, 2011, he started his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He worked with FDERS Group on the dissertation entitled "Sizing Methodology and Life Improvement of Energy Storage Systems in Microgrids." Hussam has joined The University of Jordan in June 2015 as an Assistant Professor in the Mechatronics Engineering Department.
