Mohammed Haj-ahmed received B.S. and M.Sc. degrees from The University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan in 2006 and 2009, respectively; all in electrical engineering. From 2006 to 2009, he worked at National Electric Power Company (NEPCO), Transmission Company of Jordan, as a power system protection engineer. In September, 2011, he joined The Ohio State University for Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He worked with FDERS Group on the dissertation entitled "Protection and Automation of Microgrids for Flexible Distribution of Energy and Storage Resources." Mohammed has joined The University of Jordan in August 2015 as an Assistant Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department.
